Accessibility Statement
Last updated: July 23, 2026
Our commitment
BeatCannon is committed to digital accessibility for all users, including people with disabilities. We strive to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 and are continually improving the experience for everyone.
Accessibility features
- Keyboard navigation — interactive elements are keyboard accessible with a logical tab order and visible focus indicators.
- Screen reader compatibility — semantic HTML, ARIA labels and landmarks, descriptive alt text, and properly associated form labels and errors.
- Visual design — sufficient color contrast, text resizable to 200%, no information conveyed by color alone, responsive across devices.
- Audio content — player controls are keyboard accessible and clearly labeled; no uncontrollable auto-playing audio.
- Reduced motion — animations are disabled when your system requests reduced motion.
Assistive technologies
The site is designed to work with screen readers (JAWS, NVDA, VoiceOver, TalkBack), speech recognition software, screen magnifiers, keyboard-only navigation, and alternative input devices.
Known limitations
Some third-party embedded content and user-uploaded material (artwork, audio metadata) may not be fully accessible, and complex analytics visualizations may have limited screen reader support. We are working to address these, and we encourage uploaders to provide descriptive titles, metadata, and alt text.
Standards
Our efforts aim to align with WCAG 2.1, ADA Title III, Section 508, EN 301 549, and AODA.
Feedback and alternative formats
If you encounter an accessibility barrier or need content in an alternative format (large print, audio, braille), contact accessibility@beatcannon.com. We aim to respond within 2 business days and propose a solution within 10 business days. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may file a formal complaint with the U.S. Department of Justice Civil Rights Division (ADA) or, in Canada, the CRTC.
